At only 22 years of age, Toronto’s DJ Wristpect has already managed to establish himself as a dominant force throughout Canada’s Urban Entertainment Industry. Having recently completed a seven city North American West Coast Tour, Wristpect DJ’d an exclusive event at the coveted and world famous, Playboy Mansion..! From having held residencies at some of the nation’s top venues (The Guvernment, Docks, etc) and playing live-to-air to hundreds of thousands via commercial radio (Flow 93.5 FM, Z103.5 FM, Kiss 92.5 FM in Toronto, Mix 96 in Montreal), to producing a series of internationally acclaimed & award winning mixtapes (Bridging The Gap, Can I Kick It Series), and winning DJ battles along the way (2006 & 2007 Showdown DJ Battle Champion as awarded by TorontoDJFestival.com), Wristpect is working overtime to make sure his brand is heard throughout not only Canada, but the world.

Rest assured, his hard work has not gone unnoticed; Wristpect has most recently been nominated for National Club DJ of The Year, Toronto DJ of The Year, National Mixtape DJ of The Year & National Underground DJ of The Year - making him not only the youngest DJ to be nominated in each category across Canada, but also the only DJ nationally to be awarded nominations in four categories, solidifying his presence across almost every aspect of the DJ industry.

Fueled by a passionate and relentless love for all genres of music, this young DJ’s drive, talent, and work ethic has led him to play every major venue throughout Toronto over the last 6 years, including but not limited to: The Guvernment, CiRCA, The Docks, Atlantis, The Rogers Centre, The Molson Amphitheatre, Skybar, The Drake Hotel, Lobby, Ultra, The Koolhaus, Century Room, Dream Lounge, Lot 332, Budo Liquid Theatre, Inside, Afterlife, Rockwood, Distrikt, Reign, Courthouse, Joker, Level, Karma, Money, Mink, Pheonix Concert Theatre, etc..! On top of that, Wristpect has also received bookings in Jamaica, Caymen Islands, Cozumel (Mexico), Grenada, toured at some of the hottest venues in North America (Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Whistler, Calgary etc), & was personally requested to spin private and corporate events for clients such as Rogers Wireless, Sony Ericson, Ed Hardy, Affliction, J Lindenberg, MTV, Google, Youtube Canada, Toronto Film Festival, etc..!

Wristpect has also recently been recruited by Scratchlab DJ Institute (Canada’s Only DJ School) to teach lessons & seminars in the Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced & Digital DJ courses.

On the mixtape side of things, Wristpect has been handpicked by some of the world’s biggest hip hop and e-commerce websites to mix compilation CDs (mixed tapes) for major festivals such as A3C & Rock The Bells (featuring world renowned artists such as A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Rakim, Little Brother & attendances in the hundreds of thousands).

Not limiting himself to only deejaying, Wristpect has also gone on to co-found and help develop Mediaphase, Inc. The Toronto based new-media, marketing, and IT consulting/communications firm plays host to some of the world’s biggest DJs’ online presences, podcasts, and online campaigns, as well as continuing to build successful relationships with corporate clients across several industries.  Wristpect serves as both a partner and marketing director for the emerging firm.

Currently, Wristpect can be found playing at some of the hottest weekly engagements and events across Toronto, as well as touring Canada in an effort to further brand himself.
